Trademutt
The Trademutt Journey
Trademutt was founded in 2016 by former tradies Ed and Dan, when their young friend suicided and they realised something needed to be done to improve awareness of mental health in the construction sector. Their range of colourful workwear, designed to spark conversations about mental health, has been on a steep growth trajectory ever since. Trademutt now sell thousands of items each month, and the workwear is worn by tradies all over the country, including employees of Rio Tinto, Hutchinson, BHP, Brisbane City Council and Bretts.
TradeMutt has allowed Allen and Ross to fund TIACS.org (THIS IS A CONVERSATION STARTER), a free mental-health support service offering access to trained psychologists and support workers to all Australians. To date, almost 1400 hours of free mental health support has been provided
